Description

Signal Converter Sine cosine wave signal conver to TTL  isolated subdivider isolation

Brief

This converter is an isolated sine wave subdivision device (signal converter). After the voltage sine and cosine wave signals output by the light, linear scale / magnetic scale or rotary encoder are internally subdivided, converted and isolated, the output RS-422 differential long line drive square wave signal, and can choose 11 kinds of sine wave subdivision coefficient and 3 kinds of sine wave input amplitude. All inputs and outputs are isolated, with reverse connection, overvoltage, and short circuit protection functions.

1. The power input V+ and V- are the voltage input terminals, and the power output is the internal isolated voltage output (5V/0V), providing power to the grating ruler, encoder, etc., the maximum isolated output current is 100mA

2. REF+/REF-(R When the input terminal is not in use, connect REF+ to 0V (isolation) and REF- to 5V (isolation).

3. PE is the shielded wire lead-in port, and the PEs on the left and right ends are connected, but provide an interface channel for the shielded wire.

4. 6 signal indicator lights and 1 power indicator light, when a sine wave enters and a square wave output is generated, the indicator light will light up

Use notes

1. Set the subdivision magnification The subdivision magnification is strobed by the 11-bit DIP switch. Note that only one code can be strobed at a time. Turn the DIP switch to ON state is the current subdivision magnification. Subdivision is to cut a period of SIN and COS sine waves into square waves with a specified magnification. The generated A/B quadrature square waves can be multiplied by 4 to obtain a higher number of pulses. The factory default setting is 32 subdivisions. The following example illustrates the relationship between the subdivision magnification and the output square wave: an encoder that outputs 64 sine and cosine waves in one rotation, and the subdivision magnification is selected as 32, then the number of lines of the encoder for one rotation is: 64×32=2048 . (Equivalent to a 2048 line encoder) Through A/B phase quadrature 4 times frequency, then the total number of pulses that can be obtained by one rotation is: 2048×4=8192.

2. Set the input sine wave amplitude. The sine wave amplitude is strobed by a 3-digit DIP switch. Note that only one code can be strobed at a time. Turn the DIP switch to ON state is the current sine wave input amplitude. Through this setting, devices with different sine wave amplitudes can be connected, usually the device defaults to ~1Vpp. The factory default setting is ~1Vpp.

3. After setting the subdivision magnification or sine wave amplitude, you must re-power on and re-initialize the subdivision device before it can be used. 4. Before powering on and using the subdivision, you must ensure that the signal at the input end is connected and there is a stable signal. 5. The subdivision does not support hot plugging. When the power is on, the connector cannot be unplugged. 6. Please do not use the following environment Use, otherwise it may cause malfunction a) Strong impact or vibration b) Corrosive or flammable gas c) Near acid or alkaline substances d) Places where the temperature and humidity exceed the allowable range e) Places exposed to direct sunlight 7. If a strong impact is received, an incorrect pulse signal may be sent. 8. When there is a high-voltage line or power line nearby, please use a shielded conduit to cover the cable to prevent malfunction. 9. When extending the cable, it may be interfered. Try to use it within a short distance. The shielded line should be well grounded
